Easter Island really is an unusual destination made famous by its monolithic stone Moai and ancient Pacific culture. This is an ideal stop over for anyone crossing from Chile to Australia or New Zealand. (Note: 3, 5, 6 or 7 day options are also available)

Upon your arrival at Easter Island, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Please ensure that you purchase your entrance fee (approx USD$80) to the Rapa Nui National Park either prior to your arrival online at whttps://www.rapanuinationalpark.com/products/international-visitor-ticket only valid for 10 days from purchase, or from Mau Henua's office located on the island. Overnight Otai Hotel or similar. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ORDER OF TOURS MAY VARY DEPENDING ON YOUR DAY OF ARRIVAL.

Today, we have a full-day tour of the island, lasting approximately six hours. The tour will cover the following highlights: - Ahu Akahanga archaeological site, featuring many important ancient remains. - Ahu Tongariki, the biggest restored platform with 15 standing moai. - Rano Raraku, the quarry where the moai were made. - Ahu Te Pito Kura, an archaeological site where you can view the semispherical stone with magnetic power named "The navel of the world - Ahu Nau Nau, which showcases 7 moai standing in front of Anakena beach. - Anakena white coral sandy beach, where you can enjoy swimming (don't forget to bring your swimsuit) and also see archaeological remains from the first settling on Rapa Nui. - lunch is available for an additional cost and must be booked before the tour. Overnight Otai Hotel or similar. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ORDER OF TOURS MAY VARY DEPENDING ON YOUR DAY OF ARRIVAL.

This morning, we will embark on a half-day "Birdman Journey" tour of Orongo, which will take approximately three hours to complete. The tour will include visits to the following destinations: - Rano Kau Volcano, the biggest crater on the island with a diameter of 1.6km. - Orongo ceremonial village, boasting 53 restored houses and about 1000 petroglyphs. - Ahu Vinapu, notable for its well-preserved stonework, which features large blocks of basalt and red scoria that have been fitted together with remarkable precision. After the tour concludes, we will return to the hotel. Please note that lunch will be at your own expense. At approximately 3pm, you will be picked up for the "The Seven Explorers" half-day tour of Akivi. The tour will last approximately 3 hours and will include visits to the following sites: - Puna Pao, a red scoria quarry where topknots for the moai were created. - Ahu Akivi "7 moai": the only altar with statues facing seaward. - Tahai ceremonial village, home to several ahu, or ceremonial platforms, as well as a number of restored moai. Overnight Otai Hotel or similar. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ORDER OF TOURS MAY VARY DEPENDING ON YOUR DAY OF ARRIVAL.
